After the success of “Tower C” in Iraq..the Egyptian director El-Shahawi repeats the experiment with destiny

The Egyptian director Baybars Al-Shahawi presented his new Iraqi-Egyptian film entitled (Al-Qadr) after his first Iraqi cinematic experience in the movie (Tower C), which was shown for the first time in Baghdad in the presence of the Iraqi Artists Syndicate, Jabbar Judy, and a number of artists, media and those interested. cinematic matter.

Director Baybars Al-Shahawi said”I am very happy to achieve my dream, which I sought to achieve despite the many obstacles, by presenting the movie (Destiny) with the participation of a number of Iraqi and Egyptian artists and with individual self-efforts in its              production  .
He added, ” The film deals with real events of a common historical era between Iraqis and Egyptians, and the social relations and orders that unite them when the Egyptians were working in Iraq in the eighties of the last century.”

In our society, represented by the great symbolism of the father in the family and the mother who suffered in order to bring her son to safety and the nostalgia that overwhelmed the events of the film from its inception to the end.
He pointed out that “the idea of ​​producing a joint Iraqi-Egyptian film came after the first experience of producing and showing the short film (Tower C) at the Al-Nahj Film Festival in Iraq, which was filmed on the borders of (Karbala) governorate, which deals with the stories, victories and heroism of the Iraqi soldier on the battlefield and the suffering of Iraqi families.” By losing its martyred sons as an offering to the homeland.
He explained that the movie (Al-Qadr) filmed its scenes between Egypt and Baghdad with the participation of a number of Iraqi and Egyptian artists, starring the Iraqi actor Amir Ghafouri, Lydia, Muhammad Al-Azab, Dana Mumtaz, Haitham Darwish, Amal Qutb, as well as artists as guests of honor, including Sami Maghawry, Aida Riyad, Osama Abdullah, Azza Labib, Sabri Abdel Moneim, Alaa Morsi, Muhammad Al-Sawy, Khaled Mahmoud, Hatem Jamil, Muhammad Al-Sherbiny, Amr Abdel Aziz, Yousra Al-Masoudi, Ashraf Tolba, Hussein Nassar, Sayed Lashin, and Samar Hamadi.
Baybars expressed his deep thanks to everyone who believed in his talent and contributed to supporting his cinematic project in Iraq. He hopes to repeat his joint cinematic experience between Iraq and Egypt for the third time, with the support of the Iraqi Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, the relevant authorities, the cinema-loving audience and the artists interested in the field of cinema in order for it to rotate. The wheel of cinema again, restoring the atmosphere and prestige of cinemas in Baghdad, and strengthening joint Arab cinematic works.
