The great Egyptian artist “Mofeed Ashour” expressed his happiness about the reactions of the audience and critics to his role in the drama series “Sero El Batea”, directed by Khaled Youssef, which was aired during last Ramadan on Arab satellite channels and was appreciated by viewers.

In an exclusive statement to “7eNEWS” Platform and Website, Mofeed Ashour
said that he was proud to participate in this epic drama series “Sero El Batea”,
in which he played the role of Sheikh Yahya who’s one of the men in the village
of Sultan Hamid in Menofia Governorate, which valiantly and bravely fights the
French forces led by Napoleon Bonaparte. This drama series is based on a story
by the genius of the Egyptian and Arabic Literature “Yusuf Idris”, which the
Director Khaled Youssef managed to turn into a historic drama epic that willlive forever in the history of the Egyptian and Arabic drama.

Besides, Mofeed added that he was glad with the participation of all the stars
in this great drama series “Sera El Batea”, mainly the great stars and artists
Hussein Fahmy, Salah Abdallah, Amr Abd El-Guelil, Ahmed El Sa’dany, Ahmed
Fahmy and the amazing star Hanan Metaweh.

The great late star Karam
Mattawa, Hanan Metaweh’s late father, was Mofeed’s professor at the Higher
Institute of Dramatic Arts at the Academy of Arts. Mofeed said that he learned
from Hanan’s late father that truthfulness and artistic sincerity represent the
best means to reach success and enter people’s hearts.
