The El Gouna Film Festival has announced the opening date of its sixth session, which will be held.
In the period between (October 13-20) for this current year 2023, and it is scheduled to be held in the city (El Gouna) in Sharm El-Sheikh.
The administration said in an official statement: “The El Gouna Film Festival is pleased to announce the date of its sixth session, which will be held from 13 to 15 October.”
The festival management is also pleased to announce the appointment of the co-founder of the festival and entrepreneur, Amr Mansi, as the executive director of the El Gouna Festival.
statement added that Mansi’s appointment as director came in conjunction with the festival’s establishment of its vision for the coming years to provide a creatively fruitful experience.
This is in order to support the festival’s impact as a major catalyst for the development of the film industry in the region.
It is worth noting that the El Gouna Film Festival has stopped showing it in its sixth edition, which was scheduled to be shown in 2022, for reasons that have not been revealed to this day.
