The Jordanian film “Talafizion” wins the Best Arab Film Award at the Cairo International Film Festival

The Jordanian film “Talavision” by director Murad Abu Eisheh won the “Best Arab Film” award at the Cairo International Short Film Festival, which concluded last Thursday in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.

The heroine of the film, Aisha Blasim, received a special mention for her role in the film, which sheds light on the suffering of a girl named Tala who loves to watch football matches, but the ISIS terrorist organization’s occupation of her country contributes to turning her favorite hobby into a secret act, after the terrorist organization banned watching television. .

And the winning film, according to a press release of the MAD Solutions company, which distributes the film in the world, was written and directed by Murad Abu Aisha, and it is a Jordanian-German joint production, and a group of Jordanian and Arab stars participated in it, including Jordanian artists Khaled Al-Tarifi and Nabil Kony, Ziad Bakri, Aisha Blasim.

The film “Talavision” won the “Best Narrative Film Award” in the Academy Awards competition for students, marking the first Arab victory in the feature film category. Director Murad Abu Aisha recently received an invitation to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, which awards the Oscars.

The film also won several awards during its career, including “Best Short Film” at the “Red Sea International Film Festival” in Saudi Arabia, and it had its world premiere at the “Max Ophuls Festival” in Germany, where it won the Audience and Jury Awards for the first time in the world. The date of the festival in which a medium-term film wins two prizes within its activities.
