The Moroccan caftan shines in the nights of Istanbul

Istanbul hosted the first and largest show of the “Moroccan caftan”, with the participation of many models inside and outside Turkey.

The event was organized by the Moroccan businesswoman, Wafaa Afqir, in cooperation with civil bodies and institutions in Turkey.

The event was attended by dozens of members of the Moroccan community residing in Turkey, as well as Turkish guests of different nationalities.

And to the rhythms of Moroccan traditional music, models from Morocco, Spain and the Emirates presented the latest designs of the caftan, which represents the regions of the Kingdom, and with its various names that add special touches to the charming dress.

The event was marked by a special display of traditional clothing famous in the Maghreb countries.

In a festive atmosphere in which the two artists, Karima Ghaith and Iman Al-Tsunami, sang, the organizers chose to honor Moroccan women who made their mark in the world of art and media, most notably Ghazal Benrabia and director Jahan Snow
