In December, representatives of the organization organizing the awards visited the headquarters of the Abu Dhabi Ports Group and presented the prizes to the winners.

More than 500 institutions from 83 countries around the world participated in this session. The participating institutions underwent a rigorous evaluation process conducted by a team of international experts based on the Harvard Business Council standards for quality management and institutional excellence.

The ports sector of the Abu Dhabi Ports Group received the Diamond Level “Institutional Award”, which is the highest award presented by the Harvard Business Council, in honor of the sector’s positive contributions to the economy of the United Arab Emirates, and the consolidation of its position on a number of international classifications, including the advanced position achieved by Khalifa Port. globally.

The port sector was also honored thanks to its regional expansion efforts through concluding a number of major agreements with a number of countries, which resulted in more success and growth.

The economic cities and free zones of the Abu Dhabi Ports Group were awarded the gold level in the “Covid-19 Pandemic Award” for their efforts to ensure business continuity and growth despite the great challenges posed by the global pandemic.

As for the logistics sector, it won the gold level in the “Organizational Health and Safety Award” for the efficient and innovative systems that were designed to monitor and reduce risks in the workplace.
