Dubai International Chamber Opens a Representative Office in Cairo to Strengthen Trading Relations between UAE & Egypt

Her Excellency, Mariam Khalifa AlKaabi, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to
the Arab Republic of Egypt, Omar Khan, the Executive Director of the Foreign Offices of
Dubai International Chamber, and many high-level Emirati officials participated in the
event of ribbon-cutting and inauguration of the Representative Office of Dubai
International Chamber in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
Opening the new office would consolidate the strong trading relations between the two
sisterly countries, and enhance mutual investments in major sectors like Commerce,
Industry, Food Industries, Information technology, and marine services.
The trading exchange between the two countries reached 7.5 billion dollars in 2021, and
the new office would play a main role in providing the companies in Dubai with
information and an access strategy for the Egyptian market, in addition to the necessary
operational expertise, which would increase business opportunities for both the
Egyptian companies and the companies in Dubai.
