Deputy Foreign Minister Evgeny Ivanov announced that Russia is working to facilitate visa procedures for six countries, including Syria, India and Indonesia.
“In addition to India, work is underway to simplify procedures, working with Angola, Vietnam, Indonesia, Syria and the Philippines,” Ivanov was quoted by the Russian news agency “Tass”.
Earlier, Ivanov said Russia is also preparing government agreements on visa-free flights with 11 countries, including Saudi Arabia, Barbados, Haiti, Zambia, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico and Trinidad.
