The Egyptian Society of Real Estate Appraisal Experts, headed by Dr. Ahmed Anis, at the Real Estate Appraisal Center at Cairo University, organized a symposium on “The Competence and Continuous Development of the Real Estate Appraisal Expert” and the conditions for joining the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
The Egyptian Association of Real Estate Appraisers is the one that includes all appraisal experts accredited by the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority, which grants licenses to practice the profession to experts. The association performs its societal role through its keenness to develop the skills of experts with continuous technical support in scientific seminars and training courses.
It is known that real estate appraisal is one of the professions that support the national economy through a fair evaluation of real estate assets that are offered for sale through various institutions and individuals, as well as through a good study of the assets owned by clients of the credit sectors in Egyptian banks, in cases of real estate financing, and the preparation of financial statements for companies and cases of transfer of ownership, Experts are also considered as a judge of justice in economic court cases and in real estate appraisal for all its purposes, such as appraisal when merging or separating companies, as well as when distributing and dividing estates.
The symposium, which concluded its effectiveness, was chaired by Eng. Khaled Salah Al-Mahdi, Vice President of the Society, and the secretariat of the consulting engineer, Mohamed Abdel-Rahman, Secretary-General of the Society. The seminars were prepared by the Rapporteur of the Training Committee, Dr. Abdel-Nabi Marzouk, and the lectures were delivered by Mr. Ahmed Fathi, the evaluation expert, member of RICS International, and the expert, Eng. Khaled Farouk.
It is worth noting that the association includes real estate appraisal experts registered with the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority, and it is also a member of the International Standards Council for Valuation in London.
