60 Egyptians joined training in Germany for employment

The Egyptian Ministry of Immigration announced that a group of 60 Egyptian trainees have joined for training in Germany for employment, in the fields of hospitality, bakery, construction, heating and air conditioning, within the framework of the Egyptian government’s implementation of the regional program “For a Comprehensive Approach to the Governance of Labor Migration and Labor Mobility in North Africa” in partnership with ministries and national and international agencies, and within the framework of the implementation of the training and work program in Germany, which is implemented by the Ministry of State for Immigration and Egyptian Affairs Abroad, along with the German Agency for International Cooperation in Egypt.

The Egyptian Ministry of Immigration stated that this came after an extensive selection process and personal interviews with the candidates that the ministry carried out together with the German Agency for International Cooperation in Egypt, and this group is the final group of groups of trainees that were included in the program.

Ambassador Suha Gendy, the Egyptian Minister of Immigration, appreciated the existing cooperation between the ministry and the German Agency for International Cooperation in Egypt, which aims to support our youth and help them find opportunities for training, rehabilitation and work in Germany. She also extended her sincere thanks to the German Federal Employment Agency, stressing the ministry’s keenness on cooperation and coordination. With all international organizations and institutions within the framework of implementing the international goals of sustainable development.

The Minister sent a message to the group of trainees, saying: Living in Germany is of course different from that in Egypt, so you must qualify for how to deal and integrate into German society, just as you represent Egypt and all the professionalism and commitment you will present reflects the image of your homeland in the midst of the society in which you will reside.

Also in the same context, this group signed registration agreements on December 12, in the presence of Shahira Wassef, director of the immigration file at the German Agency for International Cooperation, marking the start of a pre-departure orientation journey to prepare them for vocational training and integration in Germany in their first step, and accordingly they will join the other groups of program candidates. To receive an intensive German language course offered by the Goethe-Institut in Egypt.
