Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:
On Tuesday evening, Algeria expressed its strong condemnation of the storming of the residence of its ambassador in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, and the destruction of its contents.
In an official statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it also stressed the need to pursue the perpetrators and saboteurs responsible for this criminal act.
Which constitutes a violation of international law and diplomatic norms.
The statement also added that Algeria stresses the need to protect the headquarters of diplomatic missions, and that it renews its calls for all Sudanese parties to stop the fighting.
And give priority to the language of dialogue to overcome differences and end the crisis in order to achieve the legitimate aspirations of the brotherly Sudanese people.
It should also be noted that Algeria had earlier evacuated the staff of its embassy in Sudan, and members of the community, due to the unfortunate crisis in the brotherly country.
