Bosch started work on the construction of a home appliance factory in Egypt

The laying of the foundation stone of a BSH factory, a subsidiary of Bosch, in Egypt is an important event for the German home appliances company, Rudolph Klötscher of BSH said.

Klötscher, a member of the board of directors of BSH, thanked Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and all government agencies concerned with investment in meeting for their support in the process.

The factory in 10th of Ramadan City explaining will be the largest of its kind in Africa, and BSH intends for Egypt to be a distribution center for its production in other markets.

Madbouly said he looks forward to a speedy completion of construction, adding that the Egyptian General Authority for Investment and Free Zones plays a major role in overcoming any obstacles facing investors.

BSH plant in Egypt will include gas stoves in the first phase with investments of 80 million euros and a production capacity of 400,000 units annually.
