Food and Drug Administration and the Algerian Agency for Pharmaceuticals discuss joint cooperation


Director General of the Food and Drug Administration, Dr. Nizar Muhaidat, discussed with the National Agency for Pharmaceuticals in the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, ways to enhance coordination and joint cooperation in the field of the pharmaceutical industry.
During his visit to Algeria, Mohidat presented an overview of the pharmaceutical market there, for the institution’s experience as a pioneering national reference body concerned with ensuring the safety, quality and effectiveness of the drug, whether manufactured locally or imported, indicating that the institution monitors and tracks the drug from the beginning of its manufacture as a raw material and during all stages of its manufacture until obtaining it as a final product. Ready for patient use.
The Jordanian delegation’s visit to Algeria aims to enhance cooperation in the pharmaceutical industry between the two brotherly countries, and to visit a number of Jordanian pharmaceutical factories.
