The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said that Jordan will be among the first countries to benefit from the new British electronic visit permit program, which will allow electronic submission of applications for visit permits to the United Kingdom starting from February 2024. This came within the framework of its
keenness The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the United Kingdom for strengthening the historical relations between the two friendly countries, especially in the tourism and economic fields, and following a fruitful and positive interaction with the concerned British authorities, which was followed up by the Jordanian Embassy in London.
It is hoped that the system will contribute to submitting visit permit applications electronically through a dedicated application, and obtaining a decision on the application more quickly, in addition to the possibility for travelers who obtain the necessary approvals to make multiple visits to the United Kingdom for a period of two years.
