The General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army, organized Saturday, an air show by swarms of “Drones” in the sky of the Martyr’s Memorial / Amman, in celebration of the national occasions that the Kingdom is going through.
The air show, consisting of 1,220 drones, included the formation of luminous paintings of national symbols and slogans, starting with the Arab horse mounted by a soldier carrying the flag of the Great Arab Revolt, then a painting of a soldier inside the Jordanian flag saluting King Abdullah II. On the occasion of the feast of the royal sitting on the throne, military aircraft and tanks, the logo of the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army, the logo of the Jordanian Center for Design and Development, the logo of the SOFEX exhibition, the logo of the Falcon Robotics Company for its active contribution to securing aircraft operators, in addition to the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the Arab Army And the security services are “the most truthful in words and the most sincere in deeds.”
For his part, the Director of Military Media, spokesman for the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army, Brigadier General Mustafa Al-Hiyari said: “The choice of the armed forces for the aerial display by “drone” aircraft in the first centenary came as an embodiment of what the Supreme Commander wanted to employ technology in the service of the armed forces. These planes are one of the advanced means,” pointing out that this employment is a message from the armed forces that they are entering the second centenary and that they employ technology effectively and professionally.
Brigadier General Al-Hiyari pointed out that the choice of the place was due to its symbolism in honoring the martyrs of the armed forces who made their sacrifices and heroism over the course of a hundred years through the process of modernization and development.
It is noteworthy that this parade comes within the Kingdom’s celebrations of the 77th Independence Day, the centenary of naming our armed forces the name of the Arab Army, the feast of the royal enthronement, the anniversary of the Great Arab Revolution and Army Day.
