The Libyan National Unity Government announced the start of construction work on a temporary bridge in the city of Derna, 21 meters wide, using concrete pipes with a diameter of (1.6) to connect the east of the city to its west and as a water drainage channel.
The government explained in a statement that this project is being implemented by the Man-made River Implementation and Management Authority and the River Pipe Manufacturing Company.
According to the statement, the laying of the reinforced iron brushing layer has been completed in preparation for placing 18 pipes inside the bridge.
