The Jordanian Public Security Directorate
The Public Security Directorate announced the intensification of its security deployment in the Kingdom’s governorates to ensure law enforcement and maintain citizens’ security.
The Directorate declared that they dealt with riots in many regions of the Kingdom, and 44 people who participated in these acts were arrested in various areas; they will be handed over to the proper authorities along with those who were arrested in previous days.
The Directorate pointed to a significant decline in the number of riot units compared to yesterday, especially in the southern governorates.
The Directorate said: “the investigations into the murder of the martyr Colonel Al- Dalabeh are ongoing and will not stop until arresting the perpetrator and until he is brought to justice to receive the condign punishment, and we will not hesitate to protect lives, honor, and property.”
The Directorate called for everyone to abide by the rules and stay away from riot sites and not participate in them, and thanked all citizens who cooperated with the Directorate and stood by its men’s side, rejecting the attacks out of concern for the security of the homeland.
