Sudan: Al-Burhan receives a phone call from Erdogan

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.

Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, received a phone call, Wednesday evening, from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

in which he thanked him for his speech on the occasion of his inauguration after winning the Turkish presidential elections.

During the phone call, Erdogan affirmed the readiness of the Turkish government to continue its efforts in providing humanitarian aid to the Sudanese people.

Noting that the Turkish Hospital in Nyala continues to provide medical services during this ordeal that the Sudanese people are going through.

The Chairman of the Sovereignty Council expressed his thanks and appreciation for the Turkish President’s interest in the situation in Sudan, especially after the outbreak of the rebellion, praising the honorable stand of the Turkish government and the Turkish people in providing humanitarian aid.

He affirmed Sudan’s acceptance of any Turkish initiative to stop the war and bring peace to Sudan.

The President of the Sovereignty Council also briefed the Turkish President on the violations committed by the Rapid Support militia, its non-compliance with the armistice, its occupation and looting of citizens’ homes, in addition to the rape of free women.

In this regard, the Turkish President congratulated the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Adha, wishing the Sudanese people continued progress and development.
