-The League of Arab States, represented by its Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit, participated in the work of the Arab Forum for Sustainable Development, which was held today at the headquarters of the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia in Beirut under the title: “Solutions and Action”.
According to the official spokesman for the Secretary-General, Jamal Rushdi, Aboul Gheit praised the cooperation between the League of Arab States and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia in achieving the goals of sustainable development, through the implementation of a number of joint activities, which aim to support and build Arab capacities in the fields of Several, the most important of which is the preparation for the World Water Conference, which is scheduled to be held next week in New York, as well as the completion of the development and activation of the Arab strategy for communication and information technology, known as the “Arab Digital Agenda”, as well as the preparation of the joint plan entitled “
