the Iraqi Intelligence Agency announced the arrest of two people accused of smuggling foreign currency in Anbar .
The agency said, , The intelligence agency’s detachments were able to arrest two of those involved in currency smuggling crimes, in possession of (300) thousand US dollars and 300 million Iraqi dinars in one of the controls of Anbar Governorate.”
She added, “The defendants were heading to the governorate,” noting that, “This came based on the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, to prosecute the perpetrators of foreign currency smuggling and exchange rate manipulators.”
