The Minister of Immigration concludes her official visit UAE with the Minister of Human Resources

Ambassador Suha Gendi, Minister of State for Immigration and Egyptians Abroad Affairs, met with Dr. Abdul Rahman Abdul Manan Al Awar, UAE Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation.

This is to discuss aspects of cooperation regarding Egyptian workers abroad, during her first visit to the United Arab Emirates.

The minister said that when she met with the Egyptian community, they were unanimous in their happiness with their presence in the Emirates, due to the care and love they feel from the Emirati side.

Dr. Al-Awar also reviewed the Ministry’s work strategy, pointing out that the labor market in the UAE receives nationalities from 200 countries, who represent an important part of the development of the UAE.

And that they contributed to increasing the growth rate of the country’s gross domestic product in the fiscal year 2021 to 18.8%.

He also indicated that the growth included skilled jobs according to the International Labor Organization, including higher and professional jobs, which was reflected in economic and commercial growth and non-oil resources.

He stressed that the government in the UAE targets an income of up to 2 trillion dirhams during the year 2023.

The Emirati minister reviewed the ministry’s work strategy, pointing out that the labor market in the UAE receives nationalities from 200 countries, who represent an important part of the development in the UAE.

And they contributed to increasing the growth rate of the country’s gross domestic product in the fiscal year 2021 to 18.8%, indicating that the growth included skilled jobs.

He also stressed that the government in the UAE targets an income of up to 2 trillion dirhams during the year 2023.

Regarding the Emiratisation of workers, the UAE Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation confirmed that there is no danger of replacement or replacement.

He pointed out that the rate of job growth in the country records an increase and improvement, especially in skilled jobs. For every 50 skilled workers, one Emirati citizen is required, who is skilled.

The minister explained that all work contracts are registered in the “digital system”, and therefore all details are followed up.

The Minister of Immigration touched on the existence of challenges in some cases, and they will be provided with a list of her, which includes some cases of Egyptians, regarding the implementation of judgments in favor of workers.

This is where the ruling is in favor of the citizen sometimes and the ruling does not witness implementation.

However, Dr. Abdul Rahman Abdul Manan Al-Awar, UAE Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, stressed that the UAE is a state of law and order, and that he will take care of himself in ensuring that the law is enforced regarding the challenges we will face.
