The Palestinian Telecommunications and Postal Delegation visits the Jordanian Stamp Museum

the Chairman of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, Eng. Laith Daraghmeh, the Director General of the Palestinian Post, Moaz Daraghmeh, and their accompanying delegation visited the Jordanian Postage Stamp Museum, on the sidelines of the visit made by the Palestinian delegation to the Kingdom, to hold discussions in the field of postal cooperation .


The delegation toured the exhibition hall and listened to a comprehensive explanation of the museum provided by Mrs. Nour Abu Ghaida, where she reviewed the historical development of the establishment of the museum and the stages of issuing Jordanian stamps according to the historical sequence since the beginning of the founding of the Emirate of Transjordan in 1920 until now.

She also provided an explanation of some of the collectibles available from the museum. Old telecommunications and military equipment, in addition to old postage stamps that were used in post offices from the founding of the state until now .

At the end of the tour, the delegation expressed its happiness at visiting the museum, which highlights Jordan’s cultural status through what was documented in the stamps displayed in a distinguished manner, especially related to Palestine .
