The Prime Minister reviews a report on cultural events in three governorates within the “Decent Life” initiative

Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, reviewed a report from Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani, Minister of Culture, on cultural events.

The events were implemented in the governorates of: Menoufia, Minya, and Beni Suef, during the period from November 12 to 24, 2022, as part of the presidential initiative “A Decent Life”.

Madbouly stressed that the fields of culture and arts are one of the tools of Egypt’s soft power, noting that “a decent life” seeks to develop the Egyptian countryside.

It includes the establishment of various intellectual, knowledge and cultural activities in various governorates, to enrich the cultural life of citizens, especially youth and youth.

The Ministry of Culture works through its plan to achieve its objectives related to the dissemination of culture and the arts in order to achieve the principle of cultural justice.

As well as emphasizing Egypt’s leadership and supporting the development paths of the Egyptian state, by increasing the awareness and culture of society and delivering cultural and artistic services to the people of the country.

Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani recounted the details of the cultural activities that were implemented in the three governorates, explaining that the Menoufia Governorate witnessed the establishment of 143 cultural activities, benefiting more than 18,000 citizens of different age and social groups.

Theatrical performances were also presented that discussed and addressed social issues, in addition to that, activities were provided to discover talents.

As well as workshops for handicrafts and heritage, as well as organizing a number of awareness-raising meetings on women’s issues.

The theater’s artistic house, through the theater of confrontation and roaming, held 11 show nights in the governorates of Minya and Beni Suef.

About 22,000 citizens in eleven villages benefited from cultural activities within the framework of the Decent Life Initiative.
