In his speech before the Council of the League of Arab States at the summit level, the 32nd regular session hosted by the Kingdom in Jeddah, he said: “I extend my congratulations to the leadership of the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for chairing the work of this summit in its thirty-second session, expressing our confidence that what is enjoyed With his experience and wisdom, our business will be crowned with success.”
He added, “We feel optimistic about the signs of breakthroughs taking place in the region, including the joint statement between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran under the auspices of the People’s Republic of China, stressing that these understandings will reflect positively on the stability and prosperity of the region and the realization of the aspirations of its people. However, optimism is mixed with concern about the continuation of some challenges facing our Arab nation.
The Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait indicated that today’s meeting comes in light of the rapid developments surrounding the Arab countries, which undoubtedly reflect on the security and stability of the region, and the continuation of some unrest in the world, including what is happening in Ukraine, has serious repercussions on international peace and security. Which necessitates setting appropriate perceptions and mechanisms to deal with these developments and challenges.
With regard to the Syrian issue,  he said: “The State of Kuwait renews its support for the decision of the Council of the League of Arab States and also welcomes the statement issued in the aftermath of the Jeddah meeting and the statement issued by the Amman meeting,” looking forward to the return of Syria to the House of Arabs as a starting point for ending the crisis and the suffering of the brotherly Syrian people. .
In this regard, he affirmed the firm position of the State of Kuwait calling for preserving the unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria and rejecting any interference in its internal affairs, as well as the continuous position since the beginning of the events to provide humanitarian support to all segments of the Syrian people, looking forward to the commitment of the Syrian government to what was included in the Jeddah and Amman statements, and the decision The Security Council, in a way that guarantees Syria’s return to exercising its natural and influential role in its Arab, regional and international environment.
He also stressed that the Palestinian issue will remain at the top of the priorities and challenges facing the Arab nation, referring to the firm position of the State of Kuwait in support of the rights of the brotherly Palestinian people in the face of the Israeli occupation and its aggression and crimes that affect the historical status of the city of Jerusalem, calling on the international community to play its role in reviving the peace process. To a just and comprehensive solution, in accordance with what was stipulated in the resolutions of international legitimacy and the Arab Peace Initiative, and in a manner that guarantees the right of the brotherly Palestinian people to establish their independent state on their land with East Jerusalem as its capital. .
