Dubai Islamic Bank Contributes AED 5 million to support Ramadan Campaign launched by Mohammed bin Rashid, MBRGI Projects

Dubai Islamic Bank announced its contribution of AED 5 million in support of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives’ various projects, including the Ramadan 2023 campaign, launched by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum,  Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to establish the largest Ramadan sustainable food aid endowment fund.

DIB’s contribution supports various charity and humanitarian programs implemented by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), which focuses its efforts within five main pillars: Humanitarian Aid and Relief, Healthcare and Disease Control, Spreading Education and Knowledge, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Empowering Communities. Such efforts further the impact and sustainability of humanitarian work, instil a culture of hope around the world and support development for a better future.

Dubai Islamic Bank, said: “The Ramadan campaign launched by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum sends a message of solidarity from the UAE to the whole world, and is a testament to values of giving and generosity that are rooted in the UAE community, inspired by Islam’s teachings and Arab traditions.

“Dubai Islamic Bank is honored to contribute to MBRGI’s projects, and this year’s Ramadan campaign in particular, as a reflection of our commitment to social responsibility and to support UAE’s humanitarian efforts to help those in need around the world,” they added.

Established in 2015 to consolidate various initiatives sponsored by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum over more than 20 years, MBRGI combines under its umbrella over 30 humanitarian, social and development initiatives and entities that focus primarily on vulnerable and disadvantaged communities around the world.
