The Minister of Justice, with the participation of a number of ministers of the countries participating in the conference, inaugurated the Justice Technologies Exhibition, which reviews global technologies and allows visitors to learn about developments in information technology and artificial intelligence in relation to justice and law. , and others.

Dr. Al-Sama’ani said in his speech during the opening of the conference: “The International Judicial Conference aims to build judicial partnerships, transfer experiences, and exchange expertise to enhance and develop the possibilities of justice around the world, and I look forward to the conference benefiting the justice sectors in the countries of the world.”

He added: “In light of the accelerating changes in the world in all aspects, including the judicial and legal sectors, it is necessary to keep pace with these changes, and consider them an opportunity for improvement and development, especially with regard to supportive technologies that enhance judicial guarantees.

The Minister of Justice confirmed that the slogan of the conference comes to facilitate access to justice with digital technologies, and to achieve knowledge enrichment about the future of justice technologies, according to the highest human rights guarantees.

He added: “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has worked in light of Vision 2030, under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to develop all sectors, including the justice sector, by supporting digital innovations, and launching development initiatives and projects that promote the values ​​of justice.” Justice and transparency.

He pointed out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the “kingdom of opportunities” as described by His Highness the Crown Prince, adding, “In the justice sector, we have great opportunities for cooperation and participation in issues with a legal dimension; to achieve justice and consolidate its foundations, and to find the best ways to raise the level of quality of justice outputs, and to achieve mutual benefit.” “.

He noted that within this direction, the judicial and legal sector in the Kingdom is constantly looking to participate and interact with all international experiences and expertise and to employ innovations and visions that serve justice and raise the efficiency of procedures.

It is noteworthy that among the objectives of the conference is to enhance digital capabilities for easy access to justice, consolidate guarantees in digital justice applications, inspire ideas, exchange experiences and expertise, strengthen relations between countries and forge partnerships, and highlight the latest global trends in the justice sectors.
