Against the background of the space rocket, Kim’s sister is upset and describes the Security Council as “impudent

Kim Yo Jong, the sister of the North Korean leader, attacked the UN Security Council, which discussed her country’s launch of a space missile, describing it as “the most unfair and biased act of interference in our internal affairs

In a statement, Kim expressed her displeasure, stressing that Pyongyang would continue to exercise “all its legitimate rights” as a sovereign state, including launching satellites.

Kim, who is deputy director of the Central Committee Department of the ruling Workers’ Party, said, “I am deeply dissatisfied that the Security Council often demands that North Korea be held accountable for exercising its rights as a sovereign country at the request of the United States, and I strongly condemn and reject this as the most unfair and biased act of interference.” in our internal affairs.

Kim added that the meeting was held at the “gangster-like” request of the United States to consider the right of a sovereign country to develop space.

She said, “There are more than 5,000 satellites with different goals and tasks in orbit around the Earth, and even private companies are playing an active role in space development (…) The UN Security Council constantly takes discriminatory and shameless measures to deal with the issue of the DPRK launching a satellite only.”

Kim added that Pyongyang will continue to take “proactive measures to exercise all the legitimate rights of a sovereign state, including the launch of a military reconnaissance satellite.”

North Korea launched a missile carrying a satellite on Wednesday, but it fell into the Yellow Sea after an abnormal flight, according to the South’s military. The United States and other countries described the launch as a violation of several United Nations Security Council resolutions, which bar North Korea from any use of ballistic missile technology under UN resolutions
