Before Erdogan’s upcoming Gulf tour, the Turkish vice president and finance minister are heading to Qatar

Today, Saturday, Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz, accompanied by Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Simsek, went to the Qatari capital, Doha.
According to Turkish media, Yilmaz and Şimşek are on a working visit to Qatar, ahead of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s upcoming Gulf tour between July 17-19.
Turkish media added that Yilmaz and Şimşek will meet with the prince of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, tomorrow, Sunday, at the Emiri Diwan.
It is expected that the two Turkish officials will hold a series of meetings at the level of delegations with the aim of strengthening Turkish-Qatari relations and assessing opportunities for economic cooperation.
