Erdogan appoints Ibrahim Kalin as head of the Turkish Intelligence Service

 Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan appointed former presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin as head of the Intelligence Service, to succeed Hakan Fidan, who took over the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

This came, according to a statement issued by the Turkish Presidency Communications Department.

The statement said: “The President of the Republic, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, appointed Ibrahim Kalin as head of the National Intelligence Service
