Senior officials in the Israeli Army criticized Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi’s admission of the Israeli attack on Syria, indicating that such an admission violates the Policy of deliberate ambiguity, and could strongly motivate the Iranians to retaliate.
Last Wednesday, the Israeli Army Chief of Staff, Lt.-Gen. Aviv Kochavi, declared the Israeli army’s responsibility for an air strike that recently targeted a convoy entering Syria from Iraq, adding that the target was a truck carrying weapons.
