The founder of the Wagner Group and the second man were killed in a private plane crash in Russia

The head of the “We are with Russia” movement, Vladimir Rogov, confirmed the death of the founder of the “Wagner” group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, and the second man in the group, Dmitry Utkin.

“I just spoke with Wagner,” he said. “They confirmed the fact of the death of Yevgeny Prigozhin and Dmitry Utkin. May God have mercy on his departed servants, Yevgeny and Dmitry.”

A private plane crashed Wednesday in the Russian province of Tver with 10 passengers on board. According to the plane’s passenger list, the leader of the “Wagner” group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, was also on board.

The Ministry of Emergencies stated that “a private plane, ‘Embraer Legacy’ with ten people on board, crashed in the Tver region.”

And the administration stressed that “there were ten people on board, including three crew members, and according to preliminary information, all those on board were killed.”
