The Presidency of the Migration Department of the Turkish Ministry of Interior announced the deportation of 39,576 irregular immigrants since the beginning of 2023.
In a statement on Friday, it pointed out that 12,839 Afghans have been deported via scheduled and unscheduled (charter) flights since the beginning of this year.
