Who will be Erdogan’s replacement?

Journalist close to the opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) Ismail Saymaz made surprising statements about who will lead the AKP after 2028.

Saymaz said that President Erdogan is considering his son-in-law Selcuk Bayraktar as his replacement

Saymaz, who wrote that he is a source assured him that the name Erdogan will put after him will be Selcuk Bayraktar

However, Symaze did not provide further details.

Symaz made the following statements in his article:

“Erdoğan will hold the position of president for the last time, and when he bids farewell in 2028, he does not want to be remembered as a politician but as a statesman. It is worth noting that Erdoğan is being thought of by his son-in-law, Selcuk Bayraktar, for the future
