Egyptian league: Future misses the runner-up by drawing with Smouha

Future neglected to grab the runner-up in the Egyptian Football League when it settled for a 1-1 draw with its guest Smouha on Tuesday at Al-Salam Stadium, in the eleventh stage competitions.

Smouha advanced through Hussein Faisal (7), and the score was equalized by future Marawan Mohsen (18).

Future raised its score to 23 points, in third place, behind runner-up Zamalek, with 24 points, while Smouha raised its score to 10 points, in thirteenth place.

Ismaili continued its modest results by drawing negatively with its guest, Al-Ahly Bank, at the Ismailia Stadium.

Al-Ismaili raised its balance to 7 points in the seventeenth place, and the National Bank raised its balance to 10 points in the twelfth place.

Ceramica Cleopatra restored the tone of victories absent from three matches, with a wide victory over its host, Ghazl El-Mahalla, by 3-0, at El-Mahalla Stadium.

The Ceramica Cleopatra hat-trick was scored by Muhammad Ibrahim (51 from a penalty kick), Ahmed Yasser Rayan (90 + 2), and substitute Ahmed Al Qarmouti (90 + 4).

Ceramica raised its score to 15 points, to advance to seventh place, while Ghazl El Mahalla’s balance froze at 18 points, in fifth place.

The Arab Contractors snatched a thrilling victory from its guest Haras El Hodoud, after turning a 2-1 deficit into a 3-2 victory at the Arab Contractors Stadium.

Nigerian contractors John Okoli scored (4), Ugandan Joseph Oshaya (55 from a penalty kick) and Omar Fathy “Saviola” (68) scored goals for guards Omar Bassam (13) and Mustafa Abdel Raouf “Zico” (29 from a penalty kick).

El Mokawloon played with ten players since the 85th minute, after its player Omar Fathy was sent off for obtaining a second yellow card.

El Mokawloon raised its tally to 15 points in the ninth place, while Haras El Hodoud, who received its sixth loss this season, froze at 7 points in the last eighteenth place.
