Today, Saturday, our national karate teams continued to achieve achievements in the tournament by winning two gold medals, one silver and 3 bronze medals, during their participation in the second day of the tournament, which is witnessing a wide participation.
The two gold medals came from the U-21 national team players, Mohammed Al-Jaafari (under-84 kg) and Afif Ghaith (under-67 kg).
While the U-21 national team player, Lin Mansour, won the silver medal in the U-55 kg category.
The three bronze medals were won by the youth team through the players: Lynn Haqrous (under-53 kg), Bisher Al-Faouri (under-68 kg) and Rayan Al-Amouri (under-55 kg).
According to news issued by the Olympic Committee, the national team raised its tally in this tournament to 9 medals, including 3 golds, two silvers, and 4 bronzes. The silver medal was won by Balsam Al-Saaida (under 47 kg), and the bronze medal came from Walid Qatamesh (under 70 kg).
