The new coach of the national football team, Hussein Ammouta, expressed optimism that the youth team will reach the 2026 World Cup finals and achieve remarkable results in the upcoming Asian Cup.
In a press conference at the headquarters of the Football Association today, Thursday, Amouta called for the support of the masses, the media, and fans of the starchy team to achieve the desired goals.
He pointed out that the auxiliary technical staff will be completed before the Super Cup match that brings together Al-Faisaly and Al-Wehdat on the 21st of this month.
With regard to the players he will choose to join the national team, the Moroccan coach stated that the door of the national team is open to all, and to everyone who proves his eligibility to join its ranks, revealing the follow-up and monitoring of Jordanian professional players abroad in order to attract them, whether to the first team or the Olympic team.
In turn, the Federation’s Secretary-General, Samar Nasr, confirmed the federation’s keenness, headed by His Highness Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, to continue supporting the national team and providing its requirements.
