The teaser offers a glimpse into life at Godolkin University, America’s only college dedicated to superheroes (run by Fat International). Gen V draws its story from the famous series The Boys, as it revolves around training the first generation of superheroes to learn more about Compound V, as they discover that it is the secret of their power. The series narrates the events of the competition between the young heroes to obtain the first place in the university, which pushes them to explore their physical and mental capabilities. The heroes soon learn that ambition can only be achieved through sacrifice, and that knowing the difference between right and wrong is harder than they thought. The heroes find themselves forced to choose the path of good or evil after the university’s greatest secrets are revealed.

The cast includes Jazz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Liz of Broadway, Shelley Coon, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Loh, Asa German, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomas, and Marco Pegosi. The series also sees guest stars Clancy Brown and Jason Ritter, as well as Jesse T. Usher, Claudia Dommett, Colby Menifee and PJ Byrne, in roles similar to their roles in The Boys.

Michelle Fazekas and Tara Butters, creative directors and executive producers, are leading production on the series. The new series also stars as executive producers Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neil H. Moritz, Uri Marmur, Pavon Shetty, Ken Levine, Jason Netter, Garth Ennis, Darek Robertson, Craig Rosenberg, Nelson Cragg, Zack Schwartz, Erica Rosby, and Michaela Starr. The team of co-executive producers includes Brant Engelstein, Sarah Karbiner, Lisa Kosner, Gabriel Garcia, Aisha Porter-Christie, Judalina Neira and Lorelei Alanis. The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television Studios and Amazon Studios, in association with Kripki Enterprises, Point Gray Pictures, and Original Film.
