/Meta”intends to solve the problem of deleting users’ accounts on “Instagram” in case they decide to delete their accounts from “Thirds”

QNA:

The Meta company, which owns (Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp) social networking sites.

announced its intention to solve the problem that leads to the deletion of Instagram users’ accounts if they decide to delete their accounts from the new service, Threads.

Adam Mosseri, head of Instagram, said, “The company is aware of this issue and is working on a solution, suggesting that users only deactivate their accounts for now.”

The “Thirds” service allows users to publish text posts, with the ability to attach images, video clips, and GIFs, in addition to including Instagram posts.

And Instagram had launched a few days ago the text-based social networking platform Threads, which is characterized by the fact that it does not require Instagram users a new registration process, as it is enough for them to subscribe to it using their existing Instagram accounts with the ability to keep some Followers.

Users have complained that they cannot delete their accounts in Threads after creating them, but can only disable them, and if they decide to delete the username of the new service, they will automatically delete their account in Instagram.
