The Turkish company (Nurol Holding) continues its localization efforts by using its strong infrastructure to reduce Turkey’s dependence on foreign resources in the fields of aviation, engines, fuel control systems and avionics systems. In a statement, the company announced the completion of the flight of the “Hurjet”, the first domestic supersonic Turkish aircraft, with a cockpit that was completely developed, designed and produced by Turkish hands.
Several domestically developed subsystems are used in the development of the “Horr Jet” aircraft, which carried out its first flight at the “Kahraman Kazan” facility of the Turkish company “Tusas” on April 25.
(Nurol CAS) also contributes to the development of the “Horr Jet” project, as the plane carried out its first flight using the 28 control panels in the cockpit entirely in the hands of Turkish engineers, as these control panels are necessary for pilots to control the aircraft’s systems.
It is noteworthy that (Nurol CAS) became 100% local as of November 2022, when (Nurol Holding) acquired all shares from the British partner (BAE Systems) with the vision “to become a local provider of vital systems in the field of aviation and defense industry activities.” .
