The 28th edition of the festival includes a range of special events, great promotions and valuable prizes

Shoppers and food, art and music lovers are gearing up for the 28th edition of Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), the world’s longest shopping festival, with a host of the best shopping offers, prizes and entertainment events over 46 days from 15 December 2022 to 29 January 2023.

DSF is the world’s most diverse festival, featuring musical performances by world-renowned artists, food experiences, deals and promotions that will attract everyone, valuable raffles and prizes, and much more entertainment.

Live Concerts

The Dubai Shopping Festival kicks off with a special opening ceremony by two of the region’s most famous artists,  Mohamed Hamaki and Ahmed Saad. The festival will also feature a variety of concerts by international and Arab artists such as Tiesto, Wizkid, Mohamed Ramadan, and many others. This year’s edition will also feature 10-day ‘Dubai Tones’, featuring live entertainment by talented local artists, and Dubai Beats returns on 6 and 7 January with more than 11 artists from different genres and styles at the Dubai Media City Theatre.

Fireworks, drone and arts and culture displays

Dubai’s famous fireworks kick off during the Dubai Shopping Festival with a series of dazzling displays on December 15 at 9pm, lighting up the city’s sky at six locations: Bluewaters, The Beach, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Burj Al Arab, Dubai Frame, Al Seef, Dubai Creek and Dubai Festival City Mall.

Following the spectacular opening night shows, from 16 December to 29 January, the beloved daily fireworks display will take place at the Dubai Shopping Festival sponsored by Al Zarooni Group, providing everyone with a spectacular spectacle of fireworks in the city’s sky. The shows are held daily at various key locations across Dubai: Bluewaters, Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR),Al Seef andDubai Festival City Mall. The drone show comes lightThis year’s Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF ) will kick off 15 December with two all-new shows, the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), inspired by the festival’s promotions and celebrations, and ‘The Future of Dubai’, inspired by the Dubai Urban Plan 2040′. Performances are held twice a day at several locations at 7pm and 10pm at Bluewaters and The BeachJumeirah Beach Residence (JBR). On New Year’s Eve, show times change to 8pm and 11pm. The special laser shows will take place on December 23 and 24, January 13 and 14, and January 27 and 28 in conjunction with the light drone show.

Visitors to the Dubai Shopping Festival will have the opportunity to do some detective work with the “Murder Mystery” experience at Al Saif Heritage Hotel Dubai until 12 February. The ticket is priced at AED 210 per person and is available on feverup.com

The shopper will beAndon a date with the most beautiful entertainment shows in this year’s festival with Performing Arts of Dubai which will present a large number of shows inside shopping malls and outdoors. During shopping periods, dance, music, theatre and circus performances will appear throughout the city. These surprise catching shows will take place at locations including La Mer, City Walk 2, Al Seef, Dubai Festival City Mall, Ibn Battuta Mall, The Pointe and Nakheel Mall, Gate Avenue, DIFC, City Centre Mirdif, Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Deira, Bluewaters and Al Khawaneej. And the walk.

Residents and visitors of Dubai can keep an eye out for Dubai’s favourite duo, Modhesh and Dana, as they tour the city during the Dubai  Shopping Festival period. These two wonderful friends will always be on every stage to welcome the cast of actors, artists, dancers and others to famous locations across the city.

Dubai Lights

DSF will also feature 10 unique interactive art destinations by renowned artists from around the world. From 15 December to 29 January, Dubai Lights will take place at City Walk 2, and Dubai Design District and The Pointe, where visitors can enjoy a series of dazzling light art shows that pulsate with bright colors, most notably a show entitled The Sparks Within.

All-new concepts at DSF

This year’s Dubai Shopping Festival introduces the 80’s Dubai store  concept at Last Exit Al Khawaneej, which mimics old pop-up shops from the eighties. From December 23 to January 8 from 5pm to 11pm Youth and adults can relive memories from this wonderful period through graffiti drawings by local artists, an old video game area, classic cars, and more.

Dubai Shopping Festival offers unlimited opportunities to win several grand prizes.
