A mysterious advertisement teases Rolling Stones fans for a new album

A mysterious advertisement published by a British newspaper containing the phrase “Hackney Diamonds, expert in glass restoration. Opening in September 2023”, raised hopes among fans of the famous “Rolling Stones” that it could release a new album soon.

The advertisement was published a few days ago in the Hackney Gazette, a newspaper published in north London, and spread on social networks, where many users saw that it might be a disguised advertisement for a new work for the band led by Mick Jagger, who recently celebrated his eightieth birthday.

The text does make several allusions to the Rolling Stones, quoting hits like “Gimme Shelter” and “Satisfaction”, and asserting that the company mentioned in the ad was founded in 1962, which is the date Create the band.

The dot on the letter “i” from the word “diamonds” takes the band’s famous logo in the form of a tongue stretched out from the mouth.

The final clue is that the ad refers to a website called “hackneydiamonds.com” signed by Universal Music. Through this website, it is possible to subscribe to the mailing list run by the music production company.

The future work, which has yet to be officially confirmed for release, will be the Rolling Stones’ 24th studio album in the UK and their first since 2016’s “Blue and Lonesome”.

It will also be the first since the death of drummer Charlie Watts in 2021 at the age of 80.

Mick Jagger and guitarists Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood confirmed in an interview with the “Los Angeles Times” that they had recorded new works for the band before Watts’ death.

The Rolling Stones recently toured Europe to celebrate their 60th anniversary.
