Kuwait, UK Foster Investment Partnership, Cooperation in Cybersecurity

Kuwait and United Kingdom signed on Tuesday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to reinforce investment partnership between the two countries.

The signing ceremony was held in London in the presence of the Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

Meanwhile, Kuwaiti Crown Prince attended a ceremony on the 70th anniversary of establishing the Kuwait Investment Office in London.

The two sides signed a declaration of intent to cooperate in cybersecurity. Under this declaration the British side shall provide the essential support to establish the Kuwaiti National Center for Cybersecurity (NCSC) and augment it with the required systems and capabilities for protection from cyber threats.
