Iraq and Kuwait discuss bilateral relations and common interests

Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahhaf announced on Tuesday, that Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein discussed with his Kuwaiti counterpart, Salim Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, bilateral relations and common interests.

“Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein received a phone call from his Kuwaiti counterpart, Salim Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah,” said Al-Sahhaf to the Iraqi News Agency – INA.

He added, “The two sides discussed the close bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and discussed the latest regional developments and current developments in the region.”

“The call also discussed a number of issues of bilateral interest and everything that would achieve the common interest of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples,” included in the statement.
