At least 150 terrorists from the Al-Shabaab militia were killed as a result of a specific military operation carried out by the Somali army in cooperation with friendly forces in Mudug province in the center of the country.
Somali army officers said that the operation achieved the desired goal, as the rebels were killed while they were in a training camp in the “Dumi” area south of the Mudug region in the center of the country.
Somali President, Dr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, stressed that the federal state targets terrorists in every inch of the territory of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
The second phase of military operations continues, aiming to eliminate the remnants of the Kharijite militias in order to eradicate the extremists and liberate the few remaining areas at the hands of terrorist cells in the country.
