The National Earthquake Center announced the registration of 10 weak and medium-intensity earthquakesduring the past 24 hours.
The center said in a statement that SANA received a copy of today that the stations of the National Seismic Monitoring Network recorded 10 earthquakes, including… an earthquake in southwest Tartous 22 kilometers with a magnitude of 1.7 on the Richter scale, an earthquake west of Tartous 112 kilometers with a magnitude of 2.0, and an earthquake east of Tartous. Turkey, with a magnitude of 3.3 degrees, and an earthquake in eastern Turkey, north of Al-Hasakah, with a distance of 187 kilometers, with a magnitude of 4.1 degrees, and a severe earthquake in eastern Turkey, northeast of Aleppo, with a distance of 280 kilometers, with a magnitude of 5.2 degrees.
The center added that the earthquake northwest of Cyprus was recorded at 237 kilometers with a magnitude of 4.1, the earthquake southwest of Palmyra measured 21 kilometers with a magnitude of 2.4 degrees, the earthquake west-southwest of Latakia measured 109 kilometers with a magnitude of 2.1 degrees, and the earthquake northwest of Idlib measured 54 kilometers. It is 2.2 degrees on the Richter scale.
