The Egyptian National Media Authority:
A fire broke out in the office of the Ministry of Awqaf in downtown Cairo this morning, Saturday, and the civil protection forces sent firefighting and ambulance vehicles to control the flames.
The building is empty of all employees, as the ministry moved several weeks ago to the new administrative capital, in addition to the weekly vacation.
Police forces controlled traffic in the areas surrounding the accident site.
