On Friday, Nabil Ammar, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, held a meeting with Angela Naledi Pandor, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of the South African government.
This is within the framework of his working visit to Pretoria on the occasion of the second session of political consultations between Tunisia and South Africa.
During this meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad expressed the Tunisian side’s aspiration to advance cooperation with its South African counterpart in the agricultural field and exchange experiences in the areas of modernizing methods of exploiting agricultural lands and using modern technologies in agriculture.
In a related context, the Minister handed over to Ms. Angela Naledi Pandor a cooperation project in the agricultural field. He also informed her of the invitation extended to her by her Tunisian counterpart to visit our country during the coming period in order to further coordination and consultation between the two sides on mechanisms to advance cooperation in the agricultural field.
