Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Sultan of Oman, today gave an audience to Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah and his accompanying delegation.
During the audience, the Sultan and Sharjah Ruler exchanged cordial conversations and reviewed march of the bilateral relations between the two countries, based on shared historical bonds. They also discussed other matters of common concern.
The audience was attended from Omani side by Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court and Abdullah bin Nasser Al Harrasi, Minister of Information.
It was attended from the UAE side by Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah, Chairman of Sharjah Petroleum Council and Deputy Chairman of Sharjah Executive Council, Mohammed bin Nakhira Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Oman and Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Owais, Chairman of Department of Culture in Sharjah and Member of Sharjah Executive Council.
The Ruler of Sharjah arrived in Oman this morning on a two-day official visit.
