The Public Relations and Media Relations Department of the Kuwait Fire Department stated on Friday that, in cooperation between the Coast Guard, Vertical Aviation at the Ministry of Interior, the Navy of the Kuwaiti Army, and the Fire Department’s vessels, a body believed to belong to the missing person in the Arabian Gulf was found.
The department clarified that the body is currently being transferred by the maritime rescue boat in preparation for handing it over to the relevant authorities.
It had been previously announced that the search for a missing individual who was practicing diving in the Arabian Gulf would continue, following a report about the incident on Wednesday.
The Central Operations Department received a report indicating the presence of two individuals on a boat practicing diving. One of them has been found, and the search for the other person is ongoing in hopes of locating them.
