The new Iranian ambassador to Turkey announces plans to strengthen relations and develop trade between the two countries

The new Iranian ambassador to Turkey, Mohammad Hassan, announced his country’s plans to strengthen and develop relations with Turkey, pointing out that Turkey is currently the third trading partner of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Hassan estimated the volume of trade between the two countries at more than 10 billion dollars, expressing his hope that this number will increase further in the coming years, stressing that he will make every effort in his mission to develop and consolidate Iranian-Turkish relations at a faster pace in all fields.
The Iranian ambassador stressed that the foreign policy of the Iranian government in strengthening relations with friendly countries, especially neighboring and Islamic countries, is on the rise, in accordance with the policy of good neighborliness, which the Raisi government attaches special importance to.
